Just visit our Shop Page and click on a shop category, or an item you like the look of. You’ll be able to order on this site and pay via PayPal, which is a secure third-party payment platform.
I do not have a PayPal account. Is there another payment method I can use?
You do not need to create a PayPal account to use it. PayPal provides an option for one-time payments. It is one of the most secure payment gateway platforms we use, and it accepts all credit cards and Visa-Debit cards.
Orders are despatched within 5 working days after payment confirmation. Typically, UK and EU orders take between 24-72 hours after dispatch. For US orders ground service is used and can take up to 7-10 working days depending on the delivery address.
How long does it take to make a quilt ?
All items as listed “in stock” on the site have already been made, so there will be no delay in you receiving the item.
All our items are hand-made, so the time varies enormously depending on the size and complexity of design, from 4 days for a crib quilt to 6 weeks for a king size quilt.
If you commission a quilt the delivery time could also depend on your place in the queue of work.
Can I have the quilt made to match the colours in my home ?
Yes, you have the final say on the fabric choices for your quilt. You may send us some samples of the colours to match and we can send you fabric samples to make sure the colours are just right.
Please give us a call on 07834 351 655 to discuss your requirements.
How do I choose a pattern for a traditional quilt ?
If you have the name of the pattern or a picture of it we can usually meet your requirements. Or, if you know the style you would like we can usually find a pattern for you. Alternatively, you could visit your public library and look for a traditional pattern in patchwork books or magazines. We can provide you with great suggestions if you have an idea of what you’d like.
Can I wash my quilt ?
Cotton quilts may be washed in cold or lukewarm water. Hand washing is the preferred method, but if you decide to machine wash, use a gentle detergent and the shortest, delicate cycle in a large capacity machine.
Drying outdoors is best. Lay it flat on clean sheets, avoid direct sunlight and cover with a clean sheet to protect it. If tumble drying is necessary, dry on a cool to warm setting. Do not fold the quilt whilst warm.
Woollen quilts must be dry cleaned.
Information on care advice will be included with your quilt.
How should I store my quilt when not in use ?
The best way of storing any quilt is flat on a bed. Quilts can be stored folded, but in this case, rolls of acid-free tissue paper should be inserted into the folds to prevent creases forming. Store in a cotton pillowcase or sheet.
How much do you charge for your bespoke quilts ?
All quilts advertised on this site are already hand-made by Ziggy Squares in the UK and ready to be shipped. You could, of course, opt to commission a bespoke quilt, uniquely made just for you or a loved one.
Each bespoke quilt is individually priced depending on fabrics used, the complexity of the design and exact size. If you are thinking about commissioning a quilt, please get in touch to get an idea of price based on your specific set of requirements.
